Kiki’s Garden Princesses Spreading Good Deeds

Kiki’s Garden Princesses brought their castle and talents to help the Easter Bunny create a fun, interactive fantasy experience at the 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Children with Special Needs, hosted by the Spaulding Outpatient Rehabilitation Centers at Kent Hospital. We want to thank these volunteer performers who answered our Call for Princesses and gave of their time for rehearsals and costume fittings. A thank you also goes out to Lilly Cataldi of Songbird Arts for coordinating the Kiki’s Garden Princess Program for this special day.

The Bees are Here!!!

The Royal Family has arrived at Kiki’s Garden!
Welcome the Queen and her Hive!
Happy buzzing about in the sunflower gardens real soon.
Thank you, Bailey’s Bees, for bringing the first-ever Royal Family to Kiki’s Garden!
Play. Learn. Create. Grow. BLOOM!

2021 Secret Santa Initiative

Kiki’s Garden Spreading JOY in 2021

Krista LOVED everything about Christmas! The decorating, the cooking, the shopping and especially the gifting! Even when she was a tot, she’d wear her Santa hat to help pass out gifts and when older she was the organizer of the family’s Secret Santa List. We love remembering our gal’s spirit of generosity during this magical season so it’s only fitting to continue her holiday mischievousness with the Secret Santa Initiative. When it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas,  Kiki elves will bestow gifts upon two or more worthy organizations working to make life merry and bright for others… especially kids!

In 2021, our first season, we made merry and bright with a $1000 sponsorship for kids to participate in The Annual Gingerbread Decorating Contest at The Artists’ Exchange…

And then to provide gifts for teens, our elves joined in to purchase $1000 worth of holiday Pajamas for The Annual Foster Forward Pajama Drive  Thank you Megan Cotter and Julie Casimiro for inspiring the “ Pajama Wars” to fuel this drive  and to Kohl’s North Kingstown for the many discounts that made our $$$ go further!

Kiki’s Garden Awarded: Hero Award

Jeff and Evelyn of Kiki’s Garden are humbled to have received this recognition from our Kent Washington Board of Realtors for our work in the community to seed good deeds in memory of our daughter, Krista Weller Burns. We have planted thousands of sunflower seeds in a labor of love for Kiki’s Garden, but it is the support of our many generous donors & volunteers who have made the scholarships & programs possible. Thank you all for investing in the garden of human potential and helping kids BLOOM!

Imaginorium Summer Initiative

We loved our visit to The Imaginorium Summer Camp!
Kiki’s Garden is thrilled to have provided camp scholarships to 6 happy campers so they could attend this imaginative and well run summer creative experience. Congratulations to Ian and Star, two of the scholarship recipients pictured here… All the kids were so well behaved and respectful and so was the staff:)!!! Guess what we brought  for the kids????? Will be back soon!
