“Z News” chooses Kiki’s Garden! SEED A GOOD DEED Spotlight is on Zachary Weller!
Zach created a newsletter, Z NEWS, to raise funds to support non-profits. Zachary donated over $100 last year to Amigos de Honduras and Pure Water for the World. Both charities work in Honduras. Z’s money went towards building a school and installing a water filter into a home. Z’s Fall edition raised $40 which he donated to Kiki’s Garden in memory of his Auntie, Krista Weller Burns. Thanks, Zachary, for all your work to help kids BLOOM! Part of the Kiki’s Garden Mission is to promote kindness by encouraging kids to “Seed a Good Deed”. Thanks you Zachary!
Do you know of someone or a group of kids seeding good deeds? Please share the good news with us.
We are excited to announce our affiliation with The Women’s Resource Center. We kicked off our 2015 Outreach Initiative yesterday by providing art supplies for their programs that help women and children who have been affected by domestic violence.
The Women’s Resource Center Mission: “Leading domestic violence prevention through the empowerment of individuals and the community by providing advocacy, education and support services.”
The healing power of involvement in the ARTS is well documented and with the support of all our donors we work together to help those in need BLOOM! Thanks to all and stay tuned for updates.
In the spirit of the holiday season, and in keeping with Krista’s wishes to “feed those in need”, Kiki’s Garden spread a little sunshine with a donation of $250 to the Exeter Food Bank. Director Silvia Curry accepted the donation along with several of her dedicated volunteers. Pictured from left to right… Kate Conroy, Silvia Curry, Joan Briggs and Joanne Walsh. We thank them for the good work they do in their community!

She will be signing autographs and answering questions about the recruitment of Rhode Island contestants for the upcoming Miss High School America pageant season. She will also be helping our bevy of character princesses with storytelling, face painting and crafts. Ashton will add her own little bit of sunshine to the Soiree. We are happy to have her on board!
