Sunflower Soiree Scholarship Fundraiser
The Sunflower Soiree was a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Celebration of Life created to mirror Krista’s exuberant joyful spirit for life and became the foundation’s yearly event to raise funds for our scholarship program. There were six events held in each year late July at the height of the sunflower season from 2011 through 2017. The event grew in scope and size and by 2017 it took 100 volunteers to make it happen! Everyone worked so hard to bring this event to life as the manifestation of our tagline, Play. Learn. Create. Grow. BLOOM!… Many devoted attendees still tell us how they loved the festivities where old and young alike could romp and participate in unplugged FUN! We will always remember all the sponsors and volunteers that helped make the Soiree possible over the years. Thank you from the heart to all those who helped get our scholarship program off the ground!
